Forest Friends

This painting is part of a larger series exploring the European bison. The overarching theme of the series is perseverance and resurrection. In Forest Friends, I focus on the unlikely friendships we encounter on our journeys through struggle. The companionship between these animals serves as a reflection of the Polish people’s own perseverance, mirroring their remarkable efforts to bring the European bison back from the brink of extinction.
